OUR INFORMATION'S FATE

What will be surprising-- and would largely be remembered even as time went on-- will be how well this administration has done

It is with a high sense of responsibility that we write to the public to express our displeasure over the recent malicious attacks on social media especially on twitter which was hijacked by unknown person from the Public Relations Officer, in person of OYEWUMI,Muftau Bidemi (MYT).

The first information that was first debunked on WhatsApp with the topic *"Attention to all 200L Students"* and was signed vaguely underneath. Yesterday, again, this person or/and set of people came up with another invalid information about the upcoming post utme claiming that it has been adjourned till Wednesday,13th September,2017 and also bearing the format the union writes messages to her public. We really want to believe that the people perpetrating these acts are enemies willing to dent the goodwill of the union for the purpose best known to them.

ATIFETE JAHJAGA once asserted that "Democracy must be built through open societies that share information. When there is information, there is enlightenment.... Even when the information posits been malignant,we are full of faith that the end will justify the means.

Our hearts are filled with appreciation to the entire Unilorites who have always entrusted us with their confidence,we are fully aware that those information might have caused dynamite amidst some of you, but please bear with us as we are working assiduously on the porous union's social media accounts and relentless efforts are also ongoing to create a suitable website for easy assess of information.

On a final note, the Culprit(s) should note that it is not ideal to destroy One's life with a lie when yours can be destroyed by the truth. Unilorites and Unilorites-in-embryo who were almost misled, please, believe that the struggle to ensure constructive Unionism is through collective responsibility and this can be facilitated through our ever projecting mantra "TOGETHER WE CAN".Thank you for your patience and calls for confirmation.
